There has always been a dark side to me. My RL and SL are both blessed but a typical day in the life of me is never ordinary. For this submission I decided to focus in on my SL passion: avante garde. Modeling is my SL and god knows I wish I could in my first life. So a typical day you see, is shopping and hunting, scowering like a crow to find something dark, something beautiful to display.

For today's post I wanted to share with you my full body shot for my application to MMI (Mr. & Miss Model International). The theme was a day in the life of you. I know this is kind of, how would I say, out there for the theme, but I feel like it truly captures what brought my into modeling which is who I am in SL, and that is dark avante garde. There is nothing I love more then to style looks like this and this is who I am. I found the crows to be extremely symbolic and I am just in love with this entire look.

I do want to take a minute to talk about Wiccas Wardrobe as they really inspired the start of this outfit. I was scowering marketplace while wearing my crow headpiece and I came across their store and just fell in love. They offer everything different is really the best way to describe it. Pairing with these stunning mesh pieces I choose a unique headpiece by Chrysalis. I just love the texture and detail of this Crow Tree piece. I am happy to announce that I have participated in the Ghee December 2016 store model casting call. For this challenge we had to style using current Ghee store items and submit a raw shot! I never do raw shots let alone post them so to me this is just crazy.... But I love the way these turned out so I wanted to share the opportunity with you!

A few days ago we competed in a competition on the sim which consisted of a 2 hours shift to asses our customer service skills! It has been forever since I worked a shift but I loved it and I want to wish all the ladies the best of luck when they announce the results tomorrow! So come on down to the store for a party at 2pm SLT to hear the results!

So quickly, lets discuss what I am wearing. I wanted to style something stunning and different and when thinking fall, I tend to think orange. But I also wanted something that when talking about it, you don't break the bank! So I started in their outlet section and found this amazing gown at 99L. It is well textured fitted mesh and I just love it. The bow on the back adds a bit of flare and is just oh so cute. I wanted to keep it Ghee so I accessorized with a pair of their bangles and a stunning hat! All in all, this outfit cost me less that 200L at Ghee. I finished it off with pieces from my closes (Hair, Makeup, Nails and Shoes)!

I know I have been kind of AWOL but my RL has been super amazing. I have moved to Australia so I have been dealing with Jet Lag and meeting the future husbands family. I am hoping to begin blogging soon as possible! But for now I will have to go to daily to a weekly blog and slowly work my way up to a daily blog but I promise all the new stuffs will be coming your way they just need to be photographed and edited!

But I am happy to announce that I have made the qualification round for Miss SL 2016 with my December entry above. I love a good headshot and this ones a new fav! It is fairly simple and is not really edited (just a few smoothing) but I kept it pretty natural. With a great computer to take pictures thanks to the hubby, I love the look of my raw SL and there might be more raw shots to come (actually there will be tomorrow with another announcement).

Winter Avante Garde ft. Boudoir, Gaeline Creations & Finesmith

So this will be a short and sweet styling blog today featuring the outfit I used in the 23rd Pazzo Challenge with L'Amour. I came in second by one point which is amazing for my first time in runway in over 2 years! I look forward to next months but I wanted to share this with you. Styling Info Below! And there is so many awesome designers involved in this masterpiece of mine!

One thing that I do want to talk about are these lashes. I have always hated fitting lashes! It is such a pain and because of that I have like one pair of prim lashes I like to use and that's that. But I was talking around and this was recommended to me by an amazing model, Blue Porchers (limo to her awesome blog!). This place has some awesome HUD based lashes. Now see, I have NEVER liked the way mesh lashes photograph and because of this I wrote them off. I thought there were cheap and dime a dozen till I learned about Gaeline Creations. These are the best lashes I have now and I have to go back to get more! The amazing HUD lets you save presets as well for your various shapes so you only ever have to edit them once! Needless to say, if you are looking for something convenient and amazing. Go check them out!

The core of the outfit really came from a mixture of Boudoir sets which I love but the main set is called Winter. With this you can pretty much get the basics of this look and add to it as you please as it is a simple and elegant way to spice up your winter look!

Coming home for the holidays ft. PurpleMoon, Truth Hair &Tres Beau

Its that wonderful time of year, if you haven't noticed all the Christmas things already all over your Second Life. But with these times comes some of the most awkward experiences , especially when your meeting most of your significant others extended family and friends. In these times we often stress about what to wear and how we look so in honor of this upcoming stress for me, I designed something RL inspired - and easy to do this holiday for you too!

We will work our way from the outside in and begin with your outerwear. Standing at the door is their first impression of you so you want to kick it off on a good foot. For this I chose a classy embroidered coat by Tres Beau. This stunning piece comes with some simple black boots with a trim of fur to keep you warm in the winter months. Underneath a stunning hat you need flawless hair and today that comes from Truth Hair. I always find hair to be so tricky with a good hat but this stole the cake. Its still perfectly flowing and adds amazing volume for short hair - which I do not normally wear so this was a huge change for me and I love it. Truth hair is well textured and reasonably priced - it is also edit linked compatible so you can lower that strand or two that just wont behave with your hat. This feature right here might have me converting to truth as a major supplier for hair when I want hair accessories. So if you need that stunning style to blow people away, pop by Truth. They have so many styles I can almost guarantee you will fall in love at least once.

Your all composed from the outside - but now what do you put underneath. Well that is easy: PurpleMoon. This classy dress features a high collared neckline that is so well textured I just about died. So today, I am in love with this blog so I am warning you now it is going to be a long one. Today I featured so many designers that I love from before I left as well as one new one that I blogged about a few days ago. I decided to get back into my creative side and do something a little dark with a lot more of me in it then just basic blogging and posing. I have also finished setting up my studio so I promise that I will now include my poses and backgrounds into my style cards for you.

We will start with the headshot and work out way out so from the top down, we will begin with my favorite makeup designer ever: Madrid Solo. What can I say, they offer the best quality work and have something unique for almost every outfit I have ever styled. I could live in this store and never leave, so if you are not a part of their group please go join and take a look at their work with a stunning group gift. This is the dark set (as seen in the metals) and I find it puts a nice edge to the jewllery. With a nice large necklace this fits perfectly with the low neckline of today's dress.

Continuing down, next up is this stunning jacket by GizzA. While styling this outfit I knew I wanted to add some volume. I wanted a statement piece, something different. and thats when I came across this stunning piece. I grabbed the demo off of MarketPlace (here) and knew I had to have it. This dark, semi transparent coat is just what you need to add a statement to your little black dress and is perfect for the winter. The ruffles fit perfectly and it comes with a stunning underbust corset as well. GizzA has always had amazing pieces but for me this just took the cake today.

Now onto the main course. This stunning dress by LaVian. This amazing little dress is beyond perfect for any style, It can be glitzy and glam but you can also darken the tone with styling (which is what I decided to do). This dress comes with the LaVian signature HUD that allows you to pick from 35 textures for the top, belt and skirt so that you may mix and match to your hearts desire.
 This well textured and well fit mesh is bound to become a staple in your inventory for those pesky last minute events!

Below this beautiful dress I paired my favorite pony boots by KCreations. I have had these boots for years from this little kink shop and I can honestly say, they are my favorite. With a texture HUD and mod capabilities it gives you many ways to customize the color of these boots (I like to personally use color under cursor). So if your looking for a great pair of pony boots to add to your collection, these are definitely worth trying out as they are mesh and they do not require Slink or similar concept feet.

This gown mesh gown gives you an picturesque hourglass figure and the non slink gloves make it wearable by all (just have your prim nails ready ladies). This really is a one stop shop, but the detailed neckpieces adds depth to the dress making it easy to style. This dress really speaks volumes for itself..

The holidays are fast approaching and before we know it we will be welcoming in the New Year. So before it passes us by I wanted to show one of my favorite stores that always has some awesome holiday outfits: Boudoir. I find they have such an amazing selection of stunning works of art. If your looking for something out of the ordinary or themed, this is the place to go. So lets talk about why I love this outfit. For one, we all love our slink shoes (or similar concept add-ons) but not everyone has them and these STUNNING boots non-slink; meaning anyone can wear them. And as much as I love my slink, these shoes are just as stunning if not better than some of my slink compatible shoes. The shape they give your legs is just oh so sexy. And with the gentle bell add-on (which is resizable) you can be sure this will fit anyone! Second, the poinsettia textures and small details really make the skirt. There sure was a lot of work put into each and every one of her outfits. Lastly, the mesh dress is very figure flattering and is completely adorable on its own without the added hip pieces. The had is just an added bonus - this right out of the box outfit is easy to style and perfect for your next festive gathering!

 So with a ready made outfit what is left? Well lets see hair (Wasabi Pills), nails, makeup and jewelry. All of which are really simple and don't take much of your time (talk about convenient). So for this look I again went with a simple Lazuri. This set is a little old but its timeless. Glamorize also offers amazing quality makeup so I thought this eyeshadow was just perfect.

So, I guess I am going to keep throwing curveballs at my readers with this new blog. As you know for my blog I have always taken my own photos (mediocre graphics and all - but I do my best with what I have got). Today, I did not take them but they were taken by my RL fiance on his mega computer, AzrealMidnight and I think the graphics were just awesome so these are raw shots (minus fonts, etc.)  So please be gentle but this is the first time he has ever taken SL photos and I am very proud of him!

Now that we have our photographer mentioned, lets jump in with another place that is new to me that I am in L.O.V.E with: LaVian & CO. Have you been there? Great! No? Then you have to go check it out (SLurl provided). I swear coming back into modeling after a break and there are so many amazing people to talk about. This designer has top of the line textures. This alone will make you swoon but if you're indecisive which colors you want to wear she has AMAZING HUDs that give you so many color combinations it's unreal. There is literally a never ending list of possibilities with her pieces. So once your done swooning over her stunning pieces we can continue to talk about this number below. This amazing gown is a great way to start off your LaVian & CO collection or add to it because its everyone's favorite: free. This stunning gown with a color changing HUD is a part of the Peace on Earth Hunt (if you couldn't tell from my uncreative blog titles!). If your not a huge fan of hunts and you had to do only one store, this would be it. It comes with a whopping 35 colors for both the top and the skirt so you can mix and match as you please! Below is obviously the red and white but the brown skirt is also stunning! This dress blew me away so much that I knew it has to be the focal point for my next blog and while you are there check out her "Lost In Paradise" dress to get a sneak peak of my next blog featuring LaVian (which should be coming very very soon!). But before we move on, I want to discuss why I love this dress aside from all the amazing features above. This gown is stunning but it is casual enough for everyday wear making it very unique. The drop neck with the modest top makes classy and elegant. The bold belt creates a stunning silhouette that accents your waistline and the skirt is just long enough so you can get a peak at whatever stunning shoes you choose to pair with it.

On to the close up. We will begin by talking an old favorite of mine: the Tango Lips by .:Glamorize:.. We all have those go-to lipsticks buried in our bags somewhere and this set definitely makes my top 10. Coming in a wide variety of colors I can find a lipstick for any occasion here.

Last but definitely not least, another old favorite: Lazuri. I do need to go and grab myself some updated work as most of my stuff is unfortunately a little dated. But this doesn't stop Lazuri from blowing away many modern companies in my personal opinion. These pieces will never get old as their amazing detail and quality is something that will never change. Peace on Earth

So as for the 8th year in a row that the amazing Peace On Earth (POE8) has been on. So just for those who do not know about this amazing hunt it starts at PurpleMoon and consists of well over 60 stores in which you get to hunt for a globe in each of the participating stores for a free item! These items never disappoint so for this blog I wanted to style a look consisting of items from this hunt!

So letès jump right in with this awesome dress found at Lyrical B!zarre. It is a mesh dress with is MODIFY and to me this was a big deal seeing as much of what I find now is not. It come with a really simple texture (that you could change if you like but I kept it) and the ability to color change it. This dress hugs your hips and creates a long silhouette with its plunging neckline. The eep sides adds a bit of sexyness to it as well creating many angles that look creat on this dress. To add a bit of me to it I wanted to add a flashy belt but a nice jacket would be a nice touch too! This dress comes in white and also comes with a stunning back piece and ribbon belt.

Also featured in this photo is AnaMarkova. These heels arre slink compatible (high) as seen above and have a great color to them. Its the color that I chose to make the dress above!  These heels are a definite must add to your shoe collection - especially if your like me and have a bad habit of always buying black shoes. A nice pop f color will do you well and these are elegant and casual enough that they can e worn and styled with many different outfits. (HINT: there is also a stunning gown available at this store for the POE8 hunt so make sure you check it out!)

It is well textured and I found myself not needing to edit it at all (which was a huge plus being over 7ft tall in SL).

I am also wearing the lip texture but I did a little color editing to it for creative purposes on photoshop (but its a stunning brown-copper color). Winter Gala ft. Snowpaws,Wasabi Pills, MONS & Lazuri

So today I again wanted to highlight somewhere new to me which I now have also heard amazing reviews of from other models: Snowpaws.

Originally I wasn't looking for something new but I couldn't help myself and I just had to blog it! I was doing the Peace on Earth Hunt so that I could grab some new things from new designers, head home and try them on. But when I got to Snowpaws I couldn't help but notice the stunning group gift they currently have available for all their members. I immediately joined and spent some time wandering around and I can definitely say: wow. Okay so back on topic now, the group gift. This gown is called Paloma and is made with high quality mesh pieces. The gown body extenuates your natural waistline giving you an angelic silhouette. If this isn't enough the high front neckline contrasted with the plunging back is an added wow factor. This sparkling shawl is just enough that it is easy to match with your favorite jewllery sets. The added prim maxi skirt give the dress a whole new definition (but in my opinion the gown is stunning with and without it - so its almost like you get two amazing gowns). The skirt adds some amazing volume that flows perfectly while walking making it amazing for some quick snapshots. Okay so you have the perfect gown.... now what? Well you have to style it of course and for this, I picked three designers that my two years ago - I loved that are still around making SL a beautiful place to me. So lets dive right in and talk about all of these lovely designs.

From the top down, we will begin with hair. Comming back to SL after my break I have realized that mesh hair is really the norm now a days (from what I have seen) and the quality of it has greatly improved. What a treat! So two years ago, I fell in love with Wasabi Pills and to this day, they are still my first love. As you all might know, red hair is my thing and there is nothing in their reds pack that I do not swoon over - my personal favorite was "gingerbread" (as seen below). So needless to say when I needed new hair this was my first stop and I fell in love with Poppy. This elegant up-do is not only well made, textured and the whole deal, but it has just enough personality to it that its unique. The loose strands are very realistic and day great depth and detail to an already amazing style. I highly recommend you go grab a demo and see for yourself. This can definitely be one of the go to hairs for any formal occasion.

So before I write a whole essay on hair, lets talk everything a girls best friend: diamonds. This stunning piece comes from another personal favorite over the years, Lazuri. If I had to pick only a handful of jewelers to wear ever again, this would definitely be in their at the highest level of urgency. With the amazing color change options that they offer you can use any set for almost any occasion to match any outfit.Not only is it so multi-use but its stunning. The detail that goes into designing each and every one of these sets is to die for. This is a old set and you cn see how much it withstands the test of time. To this day this is still one of my favorite sets. Christmas is just around the corner guys and if your looking to spoil your loved ones, pop by the store and if you don't know what set they might light. a gift card is a great gift too - hint hint! Before my break I also had the opportunity of working alongside this beautiful family and they are just as beautiful as the jewels they design. 

So last but not least in my essay of blogs, MONS. Closer to the end of my time in SL, I discovered this amazing gem and I am proud to see how much they have grown because this place truly deserves it. If your looking for quality makeup and accessories take a minute out of your hectic day to pamper yourself here. Not only did I choose these classic nail appliers for my slink hands in this photo but this lipstick is killer. Brown can be hit or miss, and this definitely hit the bullseye for me. With just enough definition this lipstick is perfect for any neutral style that you want to add a bit of pop too! I actually own quite a bit of MONS makeup so please stay tuned for more photo ops featuring MONS in my upcoming blogs! For the nails, I am relatively new to slink hands, but I do enjoy them oh so much and the classic HUD from MONS offers 6 classic colors ( white, black, yellow, red, blue and purple) for you to use. Thi will definitely be in my arsenal for a quick simple nail.

New Beginning ft. Hilly Haalan & Tableau Vivant

So, I know I kind of dropped off the face of the Earth for some time but I am BACK! For this new beginning I feel like a new blog will only do it justice but please feel free to check out my old work here.

It is an interesting perspective to return to the industry some time latter when a lot has changed but I am facing these new challenges one step at a time and continuing to learn. I couldn't do it without my stunning Momma Ava (who I am so proud of for her nomination for her second Avi Choice Award!).

People to have changed and moved up in the industry so I have a lot of catch up to do, so I decided I would start with a new chapter all together.  To do this I decided to feature two new designers to me.

The first one I want to talk about was suggested to me by again, Momma Ava. She knew she had to show me these stellar boots that would drive me insane, and sure enough I went out and bought a whole bunch of boots from Hilly Haalan. These boots blew me away. The way they shape your thighs and calves are just wow. These boots were perfectly crafted to give you some sexy legs. The detail and quality of these Slink Compatible boots is to die for and if you do not own a pair, I highly recommend you go and check her out. These boots come with a color changing HUD so that you can customize them to suit your own personal style.

So as you saw from the image above the next store I want to talk about is Tableau Vivant. I am sure you are all much more acquainted then I am but for me this was a big change. This mesh fits so well and the texture is just stunning. I found this at Collaboro 88. So if this style interests you hurry up and grab your copy now! For me this was a big change. This hair again can be purchased in various sets with a color change HUD for maximum indecisiveness of what to wear! I chose to grab the basics set so that I had a wide range of colors to choose from. Always being a red head, I fell in love with the black which for me is a HUGE change... so keep updated on what I decide to keep next.
