So we have seen a fair bit of my dark side, so I think it's about time to pay homage to the lighter side. Although she does exist, she only tends to peak out of her shell from time to time, and when she does, she is a goddess. Today's look is thanks to that lovely event, The [MOD]ify Event, that you have seen me talking about this month. We are wrapping up to its end and I really do not want you to miss out, so we are finishing strong with a fun look featuring [AERTH] and {Ali & Ego}.
So let's dive in with a fun fact, not everything in the event is apparel, there is skins, mods and even items both décor and handheld. So that's where I picked up this killer staff, and what makes it even better? It is modify! Her name is Augurs Staff and [AERTH] knocked it out of the park with this one. Coming with a fatpack of textures you have the ability to customize this piece to your every need. Big bonus, it comes in 4 different held positions with poses as well!
Next up that I want to share with you is this killer fur pelt by {Ali & Ego}. This beauty's name is Monster Pelt and I can almost not even figure out where to get started on the customization that this piece offers! This piece comes in 5 different "sizes" and by sizes I mean various draping methods for the pelt. The HUD will just blow your mind with a multitude of color options and the ability to wear and customize each component. See those beautiful pieces of brown tones in the end of the pelt and throughout. That is just one of the many selectable edit points. The beads, the tassel, the stink, the fur, segments of the fur, the tip of the fur. Seriously, you will never need another pelt again. This could easily be glammed up with your favorite evening wear, worn into your next RP session and then taken back how for a good cuddle with how fluffy and soft this thing is.
So once I picked up these pieces, how did I know what to do next? I felt a serious goddess vibe and instantly was reminded of the old SL silks from my roleplaying days. That little nostalgia is what brought me to my final design. I went digging through my old bag of silks, and while I loved some of the hip pieces, the rest didn't age so gracefully. (maybe 7-10 years old).
So I knew I wanted to modernize them, and make use of what I could and I instantly thought of the lovely draping of the Tiffany bikini recently released from ViSion! Pairing this with an old favorite hip skirt, this has breathed some new life into this old piece of mine. It is also a nice reminder that I need to get myself some new silks!
To polish this off, I went with the Egyptian middle east vibes of the staff and knew that this necklace from VENGE would be a perfect match. Matching the shape of the staff, you really cannot go much further for the perfect casual yet elegant piece.
